![]() Xalapa, Mexico (AFP) Sept 17, 2010 Mexico's only nuclear generator was deactivated as Hurricane Karl roared towards Mexico's Gulf coast, Veracruz state governor Fidel Herrera said Friday. "We decided, at an appropriate time yesterday (Thursday) to close activities at the nuclear plant to avoid risks," Herrera said.
