Belgian consortium announces nuclear fuel deal with ChinaBrussels (AFP) Oct 7, 2010 A Belgian consortium said on Thursday that it had signed an outline agreement to make nuclear fuel in China for civil power generation. The deal concerns construction of "a pilot installation for MOX fuel fabrication in China and for the use of MOX fuel in Chinese nuclear reactors." Tehran (AFP) Sept 29, 2010Iran's atomic chief said on Wednesday that the country's first nuclear power plant will be ready to generate electricity by January - two months later than announced.
