Sweden kicks off large-scale nuclear accident exercise
Stockholm (AFP) Feb 2, 2011
Swedish authorities on Wednesday kicked off the country's largest-ever crisis management exercise on what to do in the event of an accident at one of its nuclear plants. The exercise will last until April and involve some 6,000 people from 70 government and emergency agencies, businesses and police, Helena Lindberg, the director general of the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, told reporters Wednesday.
