Bolivia to create National Atomic Energy Agency for cooperation with Russia

Bolivia has decided to set up its National Atomic Energy Agency for proper cooperation with Russia, General Director of Russia's state nuclear energy Sergei Kirienko said on Monday. On Sunday, Russia and Bolivia signed an intergovernmental cooperation agreement on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and cooperation in building a nuclear research and technology center at an altitude of 13,500 feet above sea level in El Alto.
