India's Mainland to Host Next Hub of Nuclear Plants

India has announced plans to set up half a dozen nuclear power plants on the mainland. Officials indicated their preference for Russian nuclear power plants as the terms and conditions of "expensive" western proposals are unfavorable. The Government of India annouced planning to expand its nuclear program by setting up at least half a dozen nuclear power plants (NPP) in the northern part of the country.
