Fire shuts nuclear power station in Britain
London (AFP) Nov 24, 2009
A nuclear power plant in southeast England was shut down Tuesday after a small fire in the boiler annexe, the company that runs the complex said. Firefighters had extinguished the fire at the Dungeness B plant at Romney Marsh in Kent after staff raised the alarm shortly before midnight on Monday, a fire official said.
