New UN atomic watchdog chief to visit Nigeria

The first official visit by the new head of the UN atomic watchdog, Yukiya Amano, will be to Nigeria next week, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced on Friday. Indian PM heads to Russia seeking closer defence ties

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh flew to Russia on Sunday on a visit to strengthen ties between the two long-time allies and finalise a deal to expand cooperation on nuclear energy.
