South Korea's president offered Monday to help energy-hungry India build more nuclear plants as the two Asian powerhouses set a goal of doubling bilateral trade by 2014. Russian-built Iran nuclear plant to start up this year: official

A nuclear power plant in Iran being built by Russia will go into service by the end of this year, Russian atomic energy chief Sergei Kiriyenko said Thursday. "All the work is going as scheduled. The tests are a success. This year will be the year of the launch of Bushehr," Kiriyenko was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency. Leak at German nuclear plant, man hospitalised: firm

A leak in a uranium enrichment plant in Germany exposed an employee to a high level of radiation but posed no danger to people outside the facility, the firm operating the plant said on Friday.
