Nuclear Power Plant Near New York City Shut Down After Fire
Moscow (Sputnik) May 12, 2015
One of the units of the Indian Point nuclear power plant was safely shut down after transformer's fire, according to the Entergy Corporation operating the facility. It stressed that there is no danger to public health and safety since all the Indian Point's emergency systems worked as designed.
