UK Nuclear Plans in Meltdown After Shareholder Warning

A major international banking group is calling on shareholders to sell their holdings in French energy giant EDF just days after it signed a deal with its Chinese partner China General Nuclear Corporation (CGN) to build a new nuclear power station in the UK. Investec Securities issued a sell notice on EDF shares citing "long-term concerns" over the French energy group which has faced major challenges following the Fukushima disaster in Japan.
