Rosneft and Gazprom Discuss New Joint Projects With Japanese Companies

"Rosneft and Gazprom are conducting talks with Japanese companies on new joint hydrocarbon projects," Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said at a press briefing. The strategic area of cooperation is the fuel and energy complex Ushakov mentioned the successful implementation of the Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 oil and gas projects (Japanese companies own 30 and 22.5 percent of shares in them, respectively).
