Greenland uranium mining opponents join government

Greenland's ruling Siumut party on Thursday formed a new coalition after clashing with its former partners, but admitted it was divided on the controversial issue of uranium mining. "The work for independence is best served by the formation of the broadest and most representative coalition possible," the new government, still headed by Prime Minister Kim Kielsen, said in a statement.
