Eclipsall Integrates Selective Emitter Technology to Solar Panel Production
by Staff Writers

Eclipsall has announced that the company has integrated selective emitter technology into its manufacturing process.

Selective emitter technology has been proven to be more effective in lower light conditions like those in Ontario.

The technology enhances solar cell performance by more efficient control of the phosphorous concentration that increases the area of each solar cell for electricity generation.

More efficient solar cells help reduce the cost of production and improve solar developers' returns.

Eclipsall manufactures high performance 60 and 72 cell PV modules from its' 160,000 square foot facility in Toronto.

"Introducing selective emitter technology further enhances our product offering and our commitment to the Ontario customer's needs", said Les Lyster, CEO of Eclipsall.

"This is another important step along our product road map and we know our customers will benefit from this technology."
