Coreworx has announced availability of the Coreworx ITAAC Solution for the Nuclear Power industry. Coreworx is recognized as a leading provider of project information and cost control software used globally to manage major capital project execution risk.

The Coreworx ITAAC Solution for Nuclear provides enterprise class security in a web-based application that allows construction inspection, licensing, and NRC inspection functions to be performed anywhere.

By ensuring ITAAC (inspection, test and analysis acceptance criteria) deliverables are properly managed, including the automatic assembly of closure packages, ITAAC maintenance features and CAP, the solution provides the shortest path to NRC confidence in ITAAC compliance and closure, ultimately providing a faster and more efficient path to plant completion and first power.

Partnering to bring the ITAAC Solution to market is the internationally recognized leader in licensing services for the nuclear industry, EXCEL Services Corporation.

"Addressing ITAAC with project information control best practices will bring the construction of nuclear power plants to the next level of maturity," says Donald Hoffman, President and CEO of EXCEL Services Corporation. "The outcomes from not using sophisticated, state-of-the-art tools are simply unacceptable, and the Coreworx solution is the first software that we have seen to specifically address the workload of ITAAC."

Providing a common system to manage all ITAAC deliverables from DCD to fuel load, the Coreworx ITAAC Solution increases visibility for all project stakeholders. Project Management best practices are applied to ITAAC and consistently executed through work process management.

Dashboards and scorecards allow for project changes to be made before costly remedies and schedule collisions occur, while ensuring the plant is built according to the design approved in the licensing proceedings.

"The ITAAC Solution is a natural progression of our Coreworx Nuclear Solution," says Ray Simonson, Coreworx CEO.

"The industry response has been overwhelmingly positive and our efforts have been validated every step of the way by our customers, prospects and industry advisors. Coreworx and our partner EXCEL look forward to expanding this solution to provide a full suite of Construction Oversight tools." The Coreworx ITAAC Solution for Nuclear is available now.
