Elbit Systems has announced the launch of its tactical broadband satellite communication (SATCOM) platform, InterSKY 4M. Designed specifically for government and military Beyond-Line-Of-Sight (BLOS) applications, the end-to-end InterSKY 4M platform delivers highly reliable broadband multi-service triple-play (voice, video and data) capabilities for static, deployed and maneuvering On-The-Move (OTM) needs.

InterSKY 4M is a comprehensive platform encompassing all elements for the design, deployment and management of an entire satellite network. It is fully integrated in Elbit C4I military systems, providing support for both OTH (Over The Horizon) and BLOS two-way broadband communications.

InterSKY 4M enables both stationary and mobile military units at all levels to maintain full connectivity at all times. Elbit Systems' cutting edge military satellite communication systems operate in C, Ku, Ka, and X-band and are fully compatible with both commercial and military satellites.

InterSKY 4M in-house developed technologies offer robust, real-time tactical communications to deliver broadband connectivity and management of common resources, Satellite on-the-halt for mobile deployed units, and Satellite on-the- move (SOTM) mobile broadband services for all in theatre maneuvering vehicles and mobile forces.

It offers highly efficient satellite space segment utilization, delivering higher bandwidth with significantly less satellite resources. The solution delivers reliable BLOS and OTH broadband connectivity in any climate and under any environmental conditions.

InterSKY 4M is deployed as a comprehensive turn-key solution that comprises a central Military Satellite Hub (MSH) ground station, Remote Military Satellite Routers (MSRs) and the advanced InterSKY Network Control Center and Network Management System. It is fully integrated within Elbit C4I military systems to ensure seamless broadband connectivity in LOS, BLOS and OTH combat arenas.
