JinkoSolar Introduces Quantum Series Modules
by Staff Writers
Shanghai, China (SPX) Jul 20, 2011

JinkoSolar technology.

JinkoSolar Holding has announced the company has reached commercial-scale production on its Q-1 Solar Modules, part of the Quantum Series. Q-1 Solar Modules are produced using pseudo-mono multi-crystalline cells, which combine the benefits of mono- and multi-crystalline cells to better align the crystalline structure and achieve a higher efficient product, all while maintaining low production costs. The cells deployed currently perform at an 18.3% efficiency level.

JinkoSolar's vertically integrated manufacturing process enables the company to have complete process control, from silicon ingots and wafers, to solar cells and modules.

Additionally, the company employs a host of thorough quality control practices to ensure the premium performance and lasting efficiency of its cells and modules. Each JinkoSolar module can be traced back to the ingot level with unique barcodes, allowing the company to monitor and record output data over an array's lifetime.

"We launched our new research and development center to focus on improving the conversion efficiency of our solar cells and next generation photovoltaic technologies. The superb balance of cost and quality we've achieved with our Q-1 solar modules is a testament to JinkoSolar's R and D capabilities," said Xiande Li, Chairman of JinkoSolar.

"We are dedicated to leading the industry in providing more affordable photovoltaic solutions without making concessions on performance, and we anticipate further gains in global market traction as we consistently exceed customers' expectations."
