![]() Istanbul (AFP) March 10, 2010 The state power companies of South Korea and Turkey signed a preliminary deal here Wednesday aimed at building a nuclear power plant in northern Turkey. ![]() Paris (AFP) Feb 25, 2010 Striking workers are blocking access to nuclear group Areva's principal French production site to press demands for a salary hike, union and company security sources said Thursday. "The site is still blocked," a member of the secuity team told AFP. Security officers have been the only personnel allowed to enter the site in Saint Marcel, in eastern France, since Wednesday night.
